About us
Store manager Wim van Wijk runs the largest cash-and-carry warehouse in The Hague. The warehouse has a sales area of more than 13,000 m2 and an assortment of over 35,000 different food and non-food products. Sligro/Ven is a well-established name within the diplomatic community.  Here you can buy your groceries at wholesale prices from many corners of the world. Most of the restaurants, hotels and bars in this area buy their products from us, because of the quality, the enormous range and the variety.
 
Sligro/Ven has a large vegetable department, daily fresh fish (also live), an outstanding butcher, poultry, a bakery, dairy products and a wonderful collection of wines from all over the world (even including Holland). Every day Sligro/Ven purchases fresh produce at the Rungis market just outside Paris, said to be the largest wholesale food market in the world.
In addition, if you are looking for glassware, pots and pans, knives, plates, or anything else for the kitchen, Sligro/Ven is the place to be.
